Do I Need to Be a Professional Nail Artist?
No.
The challenge is open to nail lovers at every skill level, including beginners, experienced DIY users, creative users, and nail professionals.
Professional training, licensing, or advanced hand-painting skills are not required.
Can Beginners Enter?
Absolutely.
Simple techniques, short nails, press-on tips, stickers, solid-color combinations, accent nails, and first-time Halloween designs are all welcome.
The Beginner Magic award specifically recognizes creative and polished entries that can inspire fellow DIY beginners.
Do I Need to Use the Beetles Halloween Gift Box?
No.
You may use any Beetles product you already own. Every entry must use, clearly show, and accurately tag at least one Beetles product.
Do I Have to Choose One of the Five Characters?
No.
The characters are optional creative inspiration. Follow one, combine several, use the Wild Card, or create any original Halloween nail design you love.
Can I Submit More Than One Look?
Yes.
There is no limit on the total number of original looks you may submit. However, every different design must be uploaded as a separate Community post.
Only your highest-scoring eligible entry will be used for final ranking, and you may receive no more than one prize.
What Photos Do I Need to Include?
Every entry must include:
1. At least one clear, real photo of the finished Halloween manicure
2. At least one photo clearly showing the Beetles product or products used
These may be separate images in the same Community post.
Is a Written Creative Description Required?
No.
A look title is required, but a longer description of your inspiration is optional.
Adding a description, steps, tools, or useful tips may help other Community members understand your work and may make the post eligible for consideration as a Most Helpful Creator entry.
How Do Community Members Vote?
Registered Community members vote by liking eligible entries.
Each member may like an individual entry once and may support multiple different entries.
Does Sharing on Social Media Give Me More Votes?
A verified social share may add 20 bonus points to your entry.
The number of likes, comments, views, shares, or followers on the external platform does not add additional points.
To ensure the share can be verified, add a screenshot of the published social post in the comments beneath your original Community entry.
Can I Win More Than One Award?
No.
Each creator may receive no more than one challenge prize. Only the creator’s highest-scoring eligible entry will be used for final ranking.
Who Can Participate?
The first Beetles Community Halloween Nail Art Challenge is intended for eligible U.S. residents age 18 or older.
Final eligibility requirements will be governed by the published Official Rules.
