On September 28, 2026, the gates to The Beetles Community will officially open—and our first monthly nail art challenge will begin.

Vampiric Feast Invitation —— The Beetles Halloween Nail Art Challenge

Whether your Halloween style is cute and eerie, darkly romantic, mysterious and magical, sharply metallic, or completely your own, we want to see the character you bring to life.

Your design can be as simple as one tiny ghost on an accent nail or as dramatic as a full gothic ten-nail set. Short nails, press-on tips, first attempts, beginner techniques, intricate hand-painted art, and experimental designs are all welcome.

The five Vampiric Feast characters are here to inspire you—not limit you.

Create your look, share it with The Beetles Community, support other creators, and compete for a share of $725 gift cards.

Participating takes three main steps:

Create a Halloween manicure using at least one Beetles product.Your design can be:

• A beginner-friendly Halloween accent nail
• A gothic or vampire-inspired design
• A detailed tutorial look
• An original monster, character, or Halloween world

You do not need to copy one of the official Beetles designs. Use them as inspiration, combine several ideas, or create something we have never seen before.

Beginning September 28, sign in or create an account in The Beetles Community, visit the Halloween Challenge page, and select Join the Challenge.

Every different nail look must be uploaded as a separate Community post.Each entry must include:

• At least one clear, real photo of the finished Halloween manicure
• At least one photo clearly showing the Beetles product or products used
• A title for the nail look

Your finished manicure and Beetles products may appear in the same image or in separate images within the post.You may also upload:

• Additional detail photos
• A short video
• Step-by-step images
• A description of your inspiration
• Tools and techniques used
• Tips that may help another creator

We have established the Most Helpful Creator award specifically for creators like you who share detailed, step-by-step instructions that offer practical help to fellow nail art enthusiasts.

Before submitting, check that:

• Your finished nail art is clearly visible
• The Beetles products used can be identified
• Your look has a title

Submit the post for review before:

October 25, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. PT

Submit early enough to make corrections if your entry is returned because required information is missing.

Posting a photo on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or another social platform does not automatically enter your design into the challenge. The Beetles Community is the official submission platform.

Not sure where to begin?

Explore five creative directions inspired by the guests of the Vampiric Feast. Choose one, combine several, or skip the characters entirely.

Any original Halloween nail look can enter.

Rich, dramatic, and made for creators who believe Halloween should come with a little glamour.

Try:

• Black cherry, blood red, oxblood, black, antique silver
• Crosses, lace, dripping blood, ornate gemstones, extra-long stiletto or coffin-shaped nails

Start Simple:

Create black cherry French tips, one red jelly accent nail, or a single gemstone detail.

For moonlit colors, spellbinding light, magnetic movement, and details that reveal more after dark.

Try:

• Deep violet, fluorescent green, midnight blue, moonlight silver
• Magnetic cat-eye effect, star and moon motifs, crystal and diamond embellishments, luminous gel accents

Start Simple:

Apply purple cat-eye gel and add one moon, star, or glow-in-the-dark accent.

Cool, graphic, and powerful, with polished metal and precise lines.

Try:

• Silver, gunmetal grey, ice blue, matte black, crimson
• Metallic mirror powder; sharp, blade-like lines; special nail shapes (such as cat-claw or dragon-claw styles); stiletto shapes

Start Simple:

Add one silver chrome French tip, a metallic accent nail, or a sharp diagonal line over a black base.

Sweet at first glance, but slightly strange when you look closer.

Try:

• Smoky gray, charcoal, cream, pink, etc.
• Smoky gradients, stained-glass patterns, tiny ghosts, candy details, delicate spiderwebs, subtle blood-red accents

Start Simple:

Add one tiny ghost, web, candy, or red dot to a neutral accent nail.

Not every Halloween idea belongs to an existing character—and that is exactly the point.

Try:

• Any color you like
• Pumpkins, circuses, monsters, zombies, original creatures, or anything else that sparks your inspiration.

Start Simple:

Combine Halloween stickers with a solid-color base, create one original accent nail, or mix details from several themes.

You do not have to match a character exactly to participate.

You can:

• Follow one character’s style
• Combine elements from several characters
• Interpret a theme in your own way
• Create any original Halloween manicure you love

If your look doesn't fit the first four themes, or you're not sure which theme it fits, it can always belong to the Wild Card.

Every registered Beetles Community member can help support challenge entries.

• A logged-in member may like each entry once.
• Members are not limited to supporting only one creator. They may like as many different entries as they genuinely enjoy.
• Each eligible Community like contributes to the entry’s challenge score.

Abnormal, automated, duplicated, purchased, or manipulated activity may be reviewed before final results are confirmed.

Sharing your entry on a personal social account is optional and is not required to participate.Creators who share their own challenge entry may be eligible for 20 bonus points.

To make sure your share can be verified:

1. Publish your challenge entry on your personal social account.
2. Take a screenshot showing the published post.
3. Return to the original entry in The Beetles Community.
4. Upload the screenshot in the comments beneath your entry.

Once the share has been verified, 20 bonus points may be added to the entry.

Beetles may attempt to locate public social posts when proof has not been submitted, but Community usernames and social usernames may be different. To reduce the risk of a share being missed, always add a screenshot beneath the original Community entry.

The following external social metrics do not add additional points:

• Likes
• Comments
• Views
• Shares
• Follower count

Only the verified act of publishing the creator’s own entry may qualify for the 20-point bonus.

A total of 10 creators will receive $725 in gift cards.

Only a creator’s highest-scoring eligible entry will be used for final ranking, and each creator may receive no more than one challenge prize.

The three highest finalized eligible Community scores will receive the Night’s Chosen awards.

Final scores are subject to entry verification, eligibility review, and review of abnormal voting activity.

Two creators will be selected by Beetles.

This award recognizes entries that go beyond displaying a finished manicure and make the creative process genuinely useful to others.

Strong entries may include:

• Clear step-by-step images
• Helpful product information
• Tools used
• Practical application advice
• Troubleshooting tips
• Techniques another user can reasonably recreate

Prize

• Two winners
• $100 Beetles.com Gift Card per winner

Five creators will be selected by Beetles.

This award celebrates looks that may not use the most technically complex techniques, but demonstrate creativity, a polished result, and real value for fellow DIY beginners.

Strong Beginner Magic entries may be:

• Approachable
• Clearly photographed
• Thoughtfully designed
• Realistic for home users to recreate
• Useful for short nails or simpler techniques
• Inspiring to someone trying Halloween nail art for the first time

Prize

• Five winners
• $35 Beetles.com Gift Card per winner

Beginner-friendly does not mean forgettable. A simple idea completed beautifully can be just as memorable as an advanced design.

To protect the Community and maintain a fair challenge, the following content may be rejected or returned for revision:

• Fully AI-generated hands or nail art
• Images copied or taken from another creator
• Heavy filters that significantly change the true polish colors
• Third-party brand watermarks or commercial promotion
• Clearly recognizable third-party characters, entertainment properties, or trademarks
• Hate symbols or hateful content
• Excessive gore or realistic injury imagery
• Content showing obviously unsafe practices, including uncured gel in direct contact with skin
• Photos showing another person’s face without permission
• Content revealing personal information about a minor
• Entries unrelated to Halloween
• Posts that do not clearly show the finished manicure
• Posts that do not show or accurately tag the Beetles products used

Artistic vampire, gothic, monster, or spooky imagery is welcome. However, Beetles may reject content that appears excessively graphic, unsafe, infringing, deceptive, or unsuitable for the Community.

The Beetles Community opens on September 28, 2026.
